Vikings Sex Party Jeopardizes Stadium?
Its been reported that a party on Al and Almas charter boats on Lake Minnetonka was to lewd that the boats had to return to shore and the police be called. Fred Smoot organized the party on two boats in a Vikings tradition where a first year play hosts a social event for Minnesota Viking players.
A supervisor on the boat reported that guests were engaged in lewd sexual behavior and that employees on the boat felt threatened by the conduct allegedly engaged in by guest including some Minnesota Vikings players. The Hennepin County Sherriff's department is looking into the allegations of lewd conduct by guests on the boat and it is possible that misdemeanor charges could be made against participants in the lewd behavior on Lake Minnetonka. This event casts a dark shadow over the plans of the Minnesota Vikings to build a new Minnesota Vikings Stadium partly paid for by tax payer dollars in Anoka County. In addition to this incident the Minnesota Vikings are in the midst of a terrible season filled with confusion, miscommunication, injuries and bad performance. The combination of these things has left a bad taste in Minnesota Vikings fans and Minnesota Legislators who are reluctant to call a special session to approve the sales tax increase in Anoka County that would help pay for the Minnesota Vikings Stadium. If the Minnesota Vikings do not improve their performance on and off the Football Field the new Minnesota Vikings Stadium plan is in deep trouble. |
